@Evelyn It looks as though Ghostery is only available for Safari on the iPad. In fact, it doesn't look as though you can add any extension to Firefox on an iPad. That must be why you haven't been able to make it work.

Thank you Phil. I've only just found your comment. I have noticed recently that DuckDuckGo are enabling us to block ads on YouTube with Duck Player. I'll look into that and try it.
